About Himmah

Himmah is a Social Justice Organisation, with a mission to tackle food poverty, racism and educational inequalities. As well as operating the largest independent food bank in Nottingham, we offer hot meals every week, distribute school uniforms to low-income families, and campaign to eradicate disproportionality in stop and searches, among other crucial initiatives. We work to tackle injustice on our doorstep

People Make Himmah

At the heart of our organisation are the incredible people who make it all possible. From our passionate and dedicated staff to our committed volunteers and board members, we are a team of individuals who share a common goal: to create positive change in our community. We come from all walks of life, bringing with us unique perspectives and experiences that enrich our work and allow us to connect with a diverse range of people.

Whether it's serving meals at our food bank, running our school uniform project, or advocating for social justice, our team works tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of others. We believe that by working together, we can achieve great things and make our community a better place for everyone. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us, and we look forward to welcoming you into our team!
