Cooking Classes

We host small-group cooking classes to help people learn new skills in the kitchen, using low-cost, sustainable and nutritious foods, such as those received in our food parcels - simultaneously building independance, confidence and self esteem.

From Ingredients to Inspiration: Cooking Classes for Healthier Communities

Our cooking classes are a new project that are aimed at creating healthier communities with the cost-of-living crisis. Cooking at home is often healthier, leads to less food waste and is a lot cheaper than eating out.

Our classes give low-income families the confidence to be able to take ingredients and turn them into delicious home cooked meals that will be nutritious for their families but also mean they learn a new life skill. Our classes are led by qualified chefs and are part of our work to relieve food poverty in as many forms and through varied methods. We hold classes once a week and they are open to anyone who finds a need for them.
